Kindergarten and First Grade Participation in Kind Power Day:

Kindergarten and first-grade students are welcome to participate in Kind Power Day by being paired with older peers, specifically fourth grade and up. This virtual event requires students to be comfortable using a device, and at times, they will be asked to type their answers.

Younger students will share a device with their older peer, who will help facilitate their participation. Partnering with older students will not only bridge the technological gap but also foster a sense of community, support, and mutual respect.

Schools that choose to have younger students participate will need to plan ahead to ensure that pairing is organized and that the event is accessible for all students.
