  • How does Go Kind Go Silly coordinate with participating schools for virtual events?
In order to ensure smooth coordination and effective communication with each participating school, we require that every school designates a specific contact person. By having a dedicated contact, we ensure that everyone is well-informed and prepared to make each community event a delightful and memorable experience.
  • What platform will be used for the event?
The event will be streamed live via Vimeo, which ensures that no ads play during the event (unlike YouTube Live, which includes ads). We recommend showing the event on a large screen, allowing students to watch easily while ensuring each student has access to a device, such as a Chromebook or another type of laptop. This device will be used to interact with Ms. Rosie through AhaSlides, where they can input their answers. In addition to submitting their answers, students will be able to see each slide displayed on the big screen on their devices, making it easy for them to follow along and view the details of each slide.

  • What equipment is needed to participate?
We recommend that students and families use a Chromebook, laptop, or desktop computer for the event. Stable internet access is essential to ensure smooth participation. Additionally, schools will need large screens to display the event for all attendees.
  • What should we do if our school doesn't have enough devices or sufficient internet capacity for the virtual event?
If your school has limited devices or lower internet capacity, students can be paired up to participate in the event. By sharing devices, students can collaborate and engage with the content together, ensuring everyone can take part in the virtual experience. This approach promotes teamwork and allows for an inclusive learning environment, even with resource constraints.
  • When does the event take place?
The virtual events Kids' Game Day, Comic Time and Kind Power are scheduled during school hours at your school. Family Game Night is scheduled for after-school hours on a weekday. You have the option to host the event 100% virtually, allowing families to participate from home, or choose a hybrid option where some families can join at your school while others participate from home.
  • How long is each event?
Each of our events lasts 1 hour.
  • What should I do if I encounter technical issues during a Go Kind Go Silly virtual event?
We understand that technical difficulties can be frustrating. Due to the need to limit overhead expenses in order to make the event free for schools, we are unable to provide technical assistance. We recommend checking your internet connection, and restarting your computer or browser if issues persist. For further assistance, you may seek help from an IT professional or consult online resources for troubleshooting tips.
